I remember first seeing him perform on the Oprah Winfrey Show… and then who can forget his 2 episode special on Ally McBeal where he played a shy, budding singer who lacked the courage to perform in front of the crowd. But apart from his acting talent (he was decently good at it), he simply shines through with his baritone voice. You listen to him once… and you don’t want him to stop.
Some of his songs like You’re still you, When you say you love me, You raise me up….etc. are total pleasures. You get so enthralled with his singing that the experience leaves you wanting more.
His age belies the level of maturity and experience that his voice exudes. His young boyish looks are contrasting to the deep resonance of his powerful voice. His kind of music soothes and pleases equally. Listening to him is indeed an absolute delight!
